ECOBUILD (Mar 4-6th at Excel) highlights much in the building industry that is progressing towards a greener future. Of great interest to sustainable living, the seminar list indicates the wide breadth of professionals now actively engaged in renewables, energy efficiency and zero carbon solutions. Whereas a lot has to do with building standards, a brief look at the programme shows that there are also lectures on "Green walls", "Trees in hard landscapes" and "Designing for biodiversity".
The last Kew Guild committe meeting is on Wednesday 5th February. 5.30 pm. Report to follow.
